STRONG 8K subscriptions are used through a compatible player application, so the practical question is always whether a specific device can install and run one comfortably.
Supported device families

Choosing hardware for customers
- Standardising on one Android TV box makes your setup instructions reusable.
- Older TVs often have limited memory, which shows as slow menus rather than playback failure.
- If a Smart TV cannot install a suitable app, an external streaming device is the simplest fix.
- Prefer devices with an Ethernet port where the router is nearby.
The network matters as much as the device
